This hotel is 1st class and fairly clean, has amiable staff and excellent location in a quiet residential area. It is an elegant building, the rooms are well decorated in good condition. The atmosphere of the venue is special.

The room I had was a standard king room with a balcony and I could request wake-up service.

There were no slippers in the room, a 4 3-star hotel.

A very clean hotel. Even smelled great the second we walked into the lobby. Rooms were very nice, amazing shower. (though one should know that the shower is open to the rest of the room.) We booked because of the close proximity (easy walking distance) to Atocha station.
I booked a "penthouse/upper floor room" but was not given an upper floor room. I paid the additional charge on Booked.net for a "city view" room, but the hotel is actually sandwiched between buildings, so there would not be any true "city scape" views. The room was fine, as we were only there one night, but it's not a hotel with any type of view if that is what you are looking for.

We stayed at the ac Hotel Atocha by Marriott for a city break. The location is great, 5 minutes walking from Metro Atocha and Museum Reina Sofia. The hotel is very modern and elegant. The bedrooms are modern, bed is comfortable. The room has a lcd tv and free of charge minibar. The particularity of this hotel is the glass shower is in the middle of the room.
The toilet does not have a lock and the door is too thin.
